Abel Montoya was born in 1999 in Mexicali Baja California, he is currently 21 years old. Abel came to the United States when he was 12 years old with no knowledge of English. Throughout his high school years, he experiences some discrimination of his accent which caused him a lot of insecurity growing up. Eventually, Abel will find a group of friends that understand his situation and will help him with his insecurities. Abel is currently a student at Cerritos College who is in his third and final year of college. He is majoring in journalism. His interest is; playing video games especially Fifa(Soccer game) and Apex Legends( Battle royal). Practice soccer which gives Abel relief from all the stress of school, work, or just life. His favorite soccer team is Chivas. Abel Has three dogs which are Sam, Duquesa, and Cutie that demonstrates that he loves animals. Abel Montoya's passion for journalism surge in Mexico when he watches a news show where the anchor was Joaquin Lopez Doriga he liked how he told the news and the stories of people, later on, while watching sports analytics he decided he was gonna become a sports analytics on the future. My topic this semester will be Athletics but that includes workouts, sports, and how to live a healthier life during this long quarantine. I decided on this topic because I have seen many people just procrastinate in their coach eating and increasing weight. I want to inform them about living a healthier life by giving them information about workouts at home, some sports information, and motivate them to do sports, and when quarantine stops have helped some people in the journey of becoming more athletes.
